Documentation Required

Please send the following documents, along with all your personal information that is required.
  • Copies of passport for you and all your family members. (The passports must be valid for at least two years or more.)
  • A Birth Certificate. for you and each member of your family. We require an original certified translation, from the original language directly into English, and a copy of the original Birth Certificate. (Where available, please provide us with an original International Birth Certificate).
  • A Marriage Certificate. We require an original certified translation, from the original language directly into English, and a copy of the original Marriage Certificate. (Where available, please provide us with an original International Marriage Certificate).
  • A Death Certificate. If your spouse or a child is deceased, we require an original certified translation, from the original language directly into English, and a copy of the original Death Certificate. (Where available, please provide us with an original International Death Certificate).
  • Divorce/Separation Papers. If you are legally separated or divorced we require an original certified translation, from the original language directly into English, and a copy of the original Divorce or Separation Document.
  • Certificates for Adopted Children (if applicable). We require an original certified translation, from the original language directly into English, and a copy of the original Adoption Certificate.
  • Proof of financial responsibility for children under 18 years of age, who are not immigrating with you.
  • Training Certificate/Diploma. We need the original certificate or diploma and an English translation, for the applicant and spouse.
  • Diplomas, Journeyperson Letter, Certificates, etc. For anything that shows completion of any type of vocational training, we need the original and an English translation.
  • Letters of Employment. You should include Letters of Employment for the last ten years, if possible. However, the Letter of Employment for your current employer is important. The Letter of Employment should include the date of the letter, the employer name, a description of the employer, your occupation, your most recent gross monthly salary, and the length of time you were employed there.
  • Immigration Photos. We need photos of you and all your family members. Seven photos of each person are required, with the full name and date of birth written on the back of each photo. Please go to our Photo Specifications page to view more details on the type of photos required.
  • Proof of Visit to Manitoba. Some examples of proof of visitation to Manitoba are a passport stamp, flight tickets, car rental receipts, motel receipts, etc. Please forward these to us.
  • Proof of Finances. Provide us with a bank statements (for the most recent three months) and/or letter of finances from your bank. If you own a house or other assets please provide us with a copy of the land title or purchase contract. Also indicate any remaining mortgages pertaining to your house and any other debt you may have.
An original Police Certificate. You must submit a police certificate for each country in which you spent more than six months, since your 18th birthday. Each family member over the age of 18 should provide such a certificate(s). We also require an original certified translation, from the original language directly into English, except for German Police Certificates.

    Fill out our detailed questionnaire and return it to our office together with the required documents.  The more complete and detailed the information you send us, the better we can assess your chances for successful immigration.

     

  • Step 3 - Assessment and decision

    We will evaluate your education, work experience and documents according to provincial and federal immigration program requirements and according to our experience.  We will share with you our informed opinion regarding the potential for success of your application.  Should you decide to engage our services we can then begin the application process together.
