Adele Dyck is the founder and president of Star 7 International Inc., an immigration consulting firm based in Winkler, Manitoba. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants. Adele began her career as a consultant in 1996 with a proposal to the provincial and federal governments for the fast-tracking of 50 immigrant families to the Winkler area. The Winkler Project, as it was called, was a success and became the pilot project for the establishment of the evolving Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Since then, her firm has assisted countless families with their immigration to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Adele is herself an immigrant, having arrived in Canada from Paraguay in 1985. She understands the demands such an undertaking places on families and she remains firm in her commitment to know her clients personally and to provide them with quality service.
Adele has a background in business and real estate and has served on the school board and various Chamber of Commerce committees. This, together with her extensive knowledge and experience in the area of immigration, enables her to advise clients professionally and comprehensively on a wide variety of topics related to immigration.
Adele has been interviewed frequently by The Winnipeg Free Press and the Winkler Times as well as CFAM, CKMW and CBC. For many years she published the Kanadischer Stern, a magazine providing information to landed and immigrating families and she continues to contribute informative articles on immigration to the International Family & Home Magazine. Adele has served as presenter, co-presenter and panel member at various conferences across the prairie provinces and has provided information sessions for many communities considering immigration as part of their regional development strategy.
Adele is married, has seven children and is the young grandmother of 17 grandchildren. She enjoys the weekly family dinners in her home.
